What is crystal made from? Well, it is glass with between 24 and 30% of lead oxide added to it. This makes the quality of the glass change in nature, it becomes highly refractive, that is to say it shines and sparkles. Cutting many lines and facets into the design, produces a corporate crystal award which really impresses. We design our crystal business awards in such a way that the hand cut lines wonderfully refracts light, making the award a real thing of beauty. It will sparkle on stage under the spot-lights, and on closer inspection you will see tiny areas of beautiful colour where light refracts.
